Hi everyone! just on vacation trying to get Rescue 671 some concert opportunities here in the Philippines! I am also trying to check on some recording opportunities. I talked to a couple of people with some connections so I will let God do the rest! More on this later! I really miss playing the guitar a lot! I did get to play some acoustic guitar with a worship team in the Philippines at Puno United Methodist church in Quezon City on Holy Spirit Drive! How cool is that for a street name! Later everyone!

Hello everyone!! It is another great day that the Lord has blessed us with! I have been putting in some late nights this week trying to really woodshed my techniques on guitar soaking in everything I can in order to incorporate licks and ideas into my own style. I have been going back in the vaults to try and figure out songs and solos that have influenced me over the years. This helps me to develop my ear and technique. I just finished another two songs last night. The first was Midnight by Joe Satriani. I have made it a point to figure out as many Satch tunes as I can and play them. I am also trying to be the only guy on youtube to cover the most Joe Satriani songs. I almost have Midnight done after a long time of digging into it last night. I have a few kinks to work out but I should be able to record it tonight. I also spent some time figuring out a Foreigner song off of the third album Head Games called Seventeen, This is such a rocking song and really influenced me growing up. I always wanted to play that solo at the end of the song! I can remember doing air guitar to this in my bedroom many times. It is not extremely hard but it has so much feel and passion in it. Mick Jones is definitely a modern day guitar hero! That guy can really play and bring so much feel to a song! He is such an underrated player. I am going to work on so many more tunes that I don't know if I can ever get all of them done but I love a challenge! I will be doing Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, Eruption by Van Halen, Panama, Spanish Fly and probably some others by Van Halen. I will be also doing some Extreme, maybe some Gary Hoey, Sweet Home Alabama, Chicago, Loverboy, Kansas, Tourniquet, Deliverance, Rez Band, and many more. Like I said, it will be an ongoing project but I know it will enhance my playing. I will also be doing some composing again as well. I already have an idea for one instrumental I have been working on and I am going to compose some more soon. I will probably sit down with an acoustic in the Philippines and compose. I wouldn't mind working on some more vocal tunes as well both for Rescue 671 and a solo project. Would love to do an easy listening acoustic record as well. I have other projects on my mind too like putting together a solo concert to take out to Guam and guitar clinics possibly in the Philippines and here on Guam. Well, that is all for now! God Bless and talk to you soon!

Hey everyone! Just got done with two new videos of influential guitar solos. One is The Cars Tonight She Comes and the other is AC/DC Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. I am trying to do my most influential solos growing up. So far I have done Overkill by Men at Work, Hot Blooded and Woman in Black by Foreigner, You Shook Me all Night Long by AC/DC. I have many more to go including some Bob Seger stuff, Sultans of Swing, My Sharona by the Knack, etc. I am also working on more Joe Satriani cover songs on my youtube channel. I will try and conquer Lords of Karma and Satch Boogie and finish up all the rest of the songs on Surfing with the Alien. There is just so much to do but I love to be busy on the guitar. I am also thinking about putting some lessons up as well. We will see. I am going to try and record some more instrumentals soon as well. I am going to go on vacation to the Philippines this next week and try to promote Rescue 671 and see if I can do some recording and some guitar work there. I really want to utilize what the Lord has given to me talent wise or it will just go to waste. Gotta get my boys started on guitar also....I have had my eye on a JS2400 guitar and I hope and pray I get it sometime soon. I love playing the JS model guitars and I don't plan on changing that for a long time. I have been playing those guitars since 1993 when I got my first JS100.
